ABOUT MEEGHAN

Meeghan’s interest in design was formed early in her life. She has a distinct memory of a photoshoot taking place at her mother’s home where the designer carefully picked out a piece of pottery Meeghan made in elementary school and placed it in a prominent spot for a shot of the most formal room in the house. At this moment, Meeghan began to understand the beauty of a layered home - that the most meaningful interiors weave together stories and experiences of the people who live there —blending treasured, personal objects with timeless design elements to create spaces full of warmth and character.

Meeghan spent the early part of her career as a licensed therapist. Her love for people and desire to understand their personal stories and what makes them “tick” is evident in the way she approaches her clients and their homes. When Meeghan launched Meeghan Sowinski Interiors in 2010, she quickly became known for her attention to detail and personalized approach, working closely with each client to ensure each space reflects their unique personalities and memories. By effortlessly layering pieces that are both beautiful and comfortable, she ensures that every element serves a purpose and tells a story.

Speaking about fashion design, Ralph Lauren once said – “You are not just buying an article of clothing. You have joined a narrative.” Meeghan approaches interiors with a similar viewpoint. It is not the pillow, the lamp, or the rug that is significant, but the space that welcomes, invites and brings people together.

Meeghan lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband and two children. Outside of design, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local antique stores and restaurants, gathering inspiration from her travels, and spending time with her beloved friends and church community.
